First time having dinner for my birthday and all I can say is excellent food, classy atmosphere and our server was beyond! Farrah our server was so I tuned to our banter she joined in with the jokes! She took great care of us and was always spot on with suggestions! The 2 bottles of wine were a hit. We had a variety of dishes for our table of 7! With NY strips cooked to perfection of medium rare, the duck outstanding, the lamb chops, a build your own pizza as the crust was amazing. Traveled an hour from North Port and with every crazy mile in the 75! I walked the way with new nickname...Lipstick and it will stick lol! I wish I could give both Farrah, the staff and the restaurant 10 stars!
If you need a large party accommodation, this is the place to do it! Ann, the Banquet Manager, was so lovely and checked in multiple times throughout the night for our intimate 10 year high school reunion in the curtained corner. The service was phenomenal - our server, Patrick, was amazing. We were able to choose between a soup or salad, and had the choice among 3 entree options. Everyone had an awesome time, and we have Cassis to thank for it!
Ran into here to take cover right before it started pouring rain and I'm glad this is where we ended up! To start, the mimosa for two deal is actually great. $24 for a small bottle of Prosecco and glass of orange juice, they bring to the table and pour for you with the ratios you want, and then leave the bottle with you on ice to refill. It was basically 3 mimosas worth for me and my girlfriend which seemed like a good deal! The food was pretty basic brunch stuff and a little oily, but tasted delicious. I got the breakfast burrito which came with potatoes and my girlfriend got the smoked salmon platter. Solid spot overall!
Overall, our experience was good. The service was ok and the food was good! The pizza was our favorite part! The ambience was a little meh. It's an open space and got quite loud. But it in a great location.
Great energy and good service! If you are a St Pete local you already know this. But if you are visiting, it is a must!
Best mussels in town! This has been my go-to for their amazing espresso martini cocktails and have been missing out on the mussels. Be sure to order extra bread to soak up the delicious and nontraditional beer broth...made from Modelo negro, Tobasco and butter...sounds so simple but is so perfectly balanced and the perfect flavor combo for these large mussels. Enjoy!
David behind the bar makes a killer dirty martini! The bar staff was so personable and attentive despite it being busy. Our water was always full and conversation was flowing. 10/10 recommend.
We had dinner elsewhere and wanted to hunt down some dessert! Well we FOUND IT HERE!!!! We obsessed over the flourless chocolate cake & key lime pie i could literally live inside their chocolate cake! Is that weird? Yes but that should tell you how delicious this was. We paired our desserts with cocktails and absolutely won! Highly recommend coming for their outdoor seating. Though we didn't have dinner, the food that came out to our neighbors showed mouth watering large portion dishes! Would definitely come back to try the food!
In the prime spot of downtown St.Pete on Beach Drive, Cassis, a classic French cuisine. The restaurant feels like you are sitting in a restaurant in France, great ambiance and liveliness. I've seen a lot of bad reviews for the service, but it was great for us when we went. Very attentive and helpful with recommendations for the menu. The drinks are good here, they make a great espresso martini. The food - a spicy crispy chicken sandwich alongside a mushroom and truffle pizza, great complement to each other. A nice spot if you are in downtown St.Pete and looking for a French spot.
Found by accident but excellent find. Great ambiance, chop steakhouse feel with chophouse jazz music. Waiters with vests and ties. Stopped in for brunch. Ordered the salmon platter ,group ordered bananas foster pancakes, a croissant and the chorizo eggs Benedict. Every thing was amazing. My salmon platter was beautifully presented sorry I forgot to take pics before I dug into my plate. Fresh smoked salmon, tasted capers, chives, hard boiled egg, onions and heirloom tomatoes. Delicious! The bananas foster pancake was huge, was shared 4 ways and still had leftovers. The best meal on the table was the chorizo Benedict. Amazing flavors and great combo with avacado, and poached egg. I will order this next time. Only have empty plates. Will definitely come back for dinner and brunch. Great waiter. Super engaging and great service!
